  • Joey Esfandi


    Joey is Chairman of Dwyer Property. He has been an active property investor and developer since the 1970s. In 1980, he founded Winglaw, a property investment and development company, which he sold, in 2000, to Warner Estates for over £100m. In 1992, he acquired a 15.5% stake in Dwyer plc, then a dual-listed property company before taking it private in 1997.

    With over 30 years’ experience in the real estate and financial markets, Joey has worked through three recessions; successfully maintaining his strategy of maximising total returns for investors, whilst carrying prudent levels of borrowing in support of this goal. He combines a deep understanding of the property investment and financial markets, with excellent high-level contacts spanning both sectors. He maintains good working relationships with those financiers who have backed his projects, by erring on the side of caution when raising capital and always delivering on his promises.

  • Michael Esfandi


    Michael joined Dwyer Property in 2012 after having worked at Knight Frank for two years in the West End investment team, where he also qualified as a Chartered Surveyor. Michael graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a BA Honours degree before completing a Masters in Real Estate at Cass Business School.

    Michael is focused on asset managing the Dwyer portfolio, project marketing and sourcing new business opportunities.

    Finance Director

    Prior to joining Dwyer Property, Simon ran Savills Capital Advisors, Savills’ European Corporate Finance team. He was previously head of loan execution in Morgan Stanley's European commercial property lending group. Before Morgan Stanley, Simon spent five years at Doughty Hanson & Co. Real Estate, a US$630m European real estate opportunity fund.

    Andrew provides Dwyer Property with specialist tax and regulatory advice, bringing commercial focus to the financial management and operations. He has over 25 years’ of experience, initially working at HMRC and then with Deloitte and PwC.

  • Giles Veitch

    Investment Acquisition & Asset Management

    Giles joined Dwyer in 1992, after 10 years in commercial property and investment advisory roles and having set up and run a network of 10 commercial estate agency offices in and around the M25. He also brings with him experience in land buying and residential development, having spent 3 years as a Director of Fairview New Homes and has held several industry consultancy roles including site identification and acquisition with leading Care Home provider Care UK.

    He is a Chartered Surveyor and graduated from The City University, London with a BSc ( Hons ) degree in Property Valuation Management and is a member of The Investment Property Forum.

    Giles is responsible for property investment acquisitions and asset improvement.

    Philip joined Dwyer Property in 2015, having spent 16 years with The Mercers’ Company which owns six blocks of freehold property on the north side of Long Acre, Covent Garden. Philip is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

    Karanjeet (Kenny) joined Dwyer in March 2014 having worked for Harrods Estates for two years as an assistant accountant.

    Previously from law firm Slaughter and May, with a background in customer service and marketing, Lauren is responsible for office management and administration at Dwyer Property.
